At 1934 Swami Asuri Kapila talk with Swami Sivananda Saraswati,
Sri Aurobindo, Ramana Maharshi, Lucien Ferrer for the foundation of World
Yoga Community with federal strucutre. The idea was first steep of the future
International Yoga Federation. The World Yoga Community ® was
formed by a merger in 1970 of VUS and World Yoga Council (a
world yoga organizations founded by Yogavatar Kirshna Kisore Das that organized
and sponsored international yoga conferences in New Delhi, India from its
formation in 1970 until 1996). International Yoga Federation (a continental
and international yoga organizations group that in 1987 started working
on creating minimum standards for yoga teachers, as well as other issues
relevant to the world yoga community). International Yoga Federation become
the world governing body of GlobalWorld Yoga Community at 1987. The president
and executive board of International Yoga Federation are the president and
executive board of World Yoga Community by democratic elections of each
continental yoga organization, every two years.
