The organizational structure of Global Yoga Community (World Yoga Community) is in international and continental yoga organizations with national associations. The International Yoga Federation (a continental and international yoga organizations group that in 1987 started working together with the pruose of unite the Glogal Yoga Community and creating minimum standards for yoga teachers, as well as other issues relevant to the world yoga community) is the largest yoga organization in the World. The International Yoga Federation become the world governing body of Global Yoga Community by the general assembly of the continental yoga organizations. The president, honorary president and executive board of International Yoga Federation are the president and executive board of the institutions of World Yoga Community by democratic elections of each continental yoga organization, every four years. The World-wide Yoga Parliament or Congress of International Yoga Federation is one point of meeting for all continenal and international yoga organizations.
